One address, and it comes to me. Not a support desk, not a queue. I read every one and I answer most of them the same day.

If your books have not turned up

This is the one I get most, and it is nearly always a delivery problem I can fix in a couple of minutes. Before you write, have a look in your spam folder and your promotions tab, because the email arrives within a minute or two of paying and that is usually where it has gone.

If it is not there, write to me and I will send the files straight over by hand. You do not need to have kept anything or to prove you paid.

What to put in the message

Only one thing really matters, and that is the email address you used at checkout. If you paid with a different address to the one you are writing from, tell me both, otherwise I cannot find your order.

How long I take

Usually the same day, and near enough always inside one working day. If two days go by with nothing from me, assume the message went astray and send it again ... it will not annoy me.

Refunds

Thirty days, no questions, and you keep the books. Write to the same address and say you want a refund. The whole policy is on the refund page if you would rather read it first.

A file that will not open

Tell me which book it is and what you are opening it on ... a phone, a tablet, a computer. The books are PDFs and the audiobook is an MP3, and both open on just about anything, so when one misbehaves it is usually something I can sort out quickly.

Anything else

A brisket that came out tough, a fire you could not hold, a method out of the book that did not go to plan ... send it. I would rather hear it than not.

Earl Jackson ... pitmaster, thirty four years.
